Bullocks to Bypass on sale with copies of
Tomerong Poet-Lorikeet Bev Stewart's
Parodies, Poems and Piffle
and the Tomerong CD.
Write to Marg for copies!

For the centenary of federation in 2001 Marg completed her local history book Bullocks to Bypass. Marg and Ray self-published and all the (modest) profits have been contributed to the Friends of Tomerong Union Church (FOTUC), the secular group which has been restoring the Tomerong Union Church — "established by the settlers of the district for the benefit of all."

2007 is the centenary of the Clyde Shire, headquartered at Tomerong from 1907 to 1948.

Bundor, the Shire Clerk's residence (left photo below), built 1909,
is next to the post office (349 Hawken Rd)
You can still spy through the trees the flag pole
erected for the visit of the Prince of Wales (story above) in 1920.
The Shire Engineers house, also built in 1909, is around the corner in Pine Forest Road.
The Shire offices were on the land between, demolished/removed in the 1950s.
